SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1 Aswan
On arrival in Aswan transfer to your luxurious Dahabeya to start your 5night cruise. Relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch and perhaps a dip in the plunge pool or a catch up on a good book. Evening cocktail party. (B/L/D)

Day 2 ASWAN/KOM OMBO/FARES VILLAGE
After Breakfast visits to the Aswan Dam /Unfinished Obelisk/Philae Temple lunch and sail to Kom Ombo. Enjoy a guided tour of Kom Ombo.
Overnight at Fares Village. (B/L/D)

Day 3 GABEL EL SELSELA/EDFU
After breakfast enjoy a visit to Gabel el Selsela where the River Nile starts to narrow and the banks transform into steep cliffs. This is the excavation site of a vast New Kingdom necropolis of Gebel el Silsila. After lunch enjoy some superb cuisine made from freshly harvested ingredients.Continue cruising to Edfu and the City of the Falcon God. (B/L/D)

Day 4 EL KAB/ EL HEGZ VILLAGE/ESNA
Cruise north to El Hegz village passing by the Rock Tombs of El Kab from the early 18th Dynasty. El Kab is a small village in upper Egypt near the remains of one of the oldest settlements Nekheb. Once the shrine of the vulture Goddess Nekhbet and the capital of Upper Egypt. Visit the Tomb of Commander Ahmose and Pahery and Renni dating back to Thutmose III. In the evening enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a much-anticipated oriental show. (B/L/D)

Day 5 LUXOR
Today we wake up to the new landscape of Luxor. We travel to the West Bank to the Valley of the Kings where we will have access to 3 tombs of those open on that day. Then continue to the magnificent mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut carved into the rock. Finally, the the Colossi of Memnon fronting the vast mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Time to get out of the hot sun and return to your luxury cruiser for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation. (B/L/D)

Day 6 LUXOR/DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out and you will depart for an early morning tour of the Karnak and Luxor Temples.

We will head off to the Temple of Amun at Karnak, the world’s largest temple complex. This morning will be an in-depth tour of the site looking at the Pylons, the Great Hypostyle Hall, The Sanctuary and the Sacred Lake. We include all the main elements but also the more out of the way hidden gems, including the newly restored Khonsu Temple. Lunch at your Dahabeya.

This morning we take our private transfer to Luxor Airport for your direct flight.
